In Memoriam: Ed Ramey

For over four decades, Ed represented Colorado businesses, government agencies, individuals, and public interest groups in state, federal, and administrative trials and appeals. His practice ranged from civil rights litigation to environmental protection and conservation issues, academic freedom and education law, governmental processes, election and campaign finance law, animal protection, disability and employment discrimination matters, and prison law.

Ed was widely recognized for his work in constitutional and public interest litigation. He regularly represented and worked with private (often disadvantaged) individuals, as well as businesses and trade groups, state and local governmental bodies and agencies, public officials, teachers and university faculty, political organizations and candidates, community groups, and a wide variety of nonprofit education and advocacy organizations.

Ed will be remembered for his dedication to his clients and to justice, his kindness, and his immense generosity, and he is greatly missed.
